UK Actress from Ashes to Ashes and Spooks said in an interview on playing Diana Dors in Blonde Bombshell that “I’m five foot eight and with heels on, I’m towering. I was bigger than all the guys in the film. There was something quite nice in that”.
She has also said 5ft 10 lately, although personally I thought she looked around my height, but I had around 0.4 inches thicker sneakers than her footwear in this photo (pic by Malcolm at the London Film Convention in 2009).

Will Upstairs Downstairs be renewed for a second series?
From Media Monkey in The Guardian 10 January:
No word yet from the BBC on whether Upstairs Downstairs will be returning as a full-blown eight-part series, or has run its course as a piece of Christmas television. According to John Whitney, a co-owner of Sagitta, the company that controls the Upstairs Downstairs format, they are all waiting to hear whether the American co-producer, Masterpiece, headed by executive producer Rebecca Eaton, wishes to commit funds to a full series for the PBS network. To that end, Upstairs Downstairs stars and co-owners Eileen Atkins and Jean Marsh are crossing the pond at the end of this month. One further issue is that PBS is about to screen an edited version of ITV’s Downton Abbey, which it also backed. PBS has already committed to the second series of the Julian Fellowes creation, which starts shooting in March. So poor Keeley Hawes and her fellow toffs and serfs need US viewers, who will have already seen Downton, to react favourably to get lift-off.
Regarding funding for the series, there could be a similar arrangement for the public to help fund the programme, as is the case with Downton Abbey which is also broadcast on PBS. The Independent 17 January:
The broadcaster [PBS] has now offered wealthy private donors the chance to become part of the Masterpiece Trust. For a sum in the region of £25,000 they can buy a guaranteed slot on the credits of Downton Abbey and other British shows. Rebecca Eaton, the series’ executive producer, said: “We are very proud of the four couples whose names will be founding members of Masterpiece Trust — whose names will be on the show for the first time.”
It has been renewed for a second series — this time with six episodes!

Correct (and woah so many search queries!)! O_O The other actress in the advert for Boots No7 Restore and Renew is Francesca Annis, who played the mother of Keeley Hawes’ character Cynthia Kirkpatrick in Wives and Daughters back in 1999. (The advert with Miranda Richardson was from last year) In the meantime, here‘s the ad recorded off the TV screen.
