A look that’s opening new Dors for Keeley
The platinum locks, curvaceous figure and sexy hands-on-hips pose is unmistakably Diana Dors — but the picture above is of a very Nineties actress.
Keeley Hawes, 22, plays the famous sex symbol in a £ 3 million ITV miniseries The Blonde Bombshell, which follows her incredible life story through three marriages.
Dors (inset) died from cancer in 1984 at the age of 52.
Hawes, who posed outside the Drury Lane Theatre in London yesterday to promote the drama, has starred in the BBC’s Our Mutual Friend and The Beggar Bride. She plays Dors as a young woman, with Amanda Redman as the older version.
