Crystal Dynamics’ Karl Stewart, the global brand director of Tomb Raider confirmed over Twitter that Keeley Hawes would not be returning as the voice of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Origins.

Yes, she spoke. They had a placeholder voice, which wasn’t bad. But they are taking their time to cast the perfect new voice for Lara. I’ve been asked not to say much other than that, but I would expect that with this being a new character, it will be a new voice actress.
